Since we're in the capital, let's discover an interesting eco-tourism spot. Today, we're
heading for Ankafobe, the harbour of Tampoketsa. Stop off in the small village of
Ambohimanarina to visit a charcoal stove workshop. The manufacture of these stoves has
become the culture of the people living in this village. In addition to farming and livestock
breeding. Afterwards, we continue our journey to reach the Ankafobe reserve. Whether
you're a history buff or a nature lover, the 30-hectare Ankafobe forest is well worth a visit.
This is where the Sohisika or “Schizolaena Tampoketsana” grows, considered to be one of the
rarest trees in the world. A number of animal species also live in this prodigious reserve,
including reptiles, amphibians, birds and the Eulemur fulvus: all live freely in the reserve.
After an exciting hike, you'll catch a glimpse of the famous Andriamamovoka waterfall. Of
course, this outing promises breathtaking scenery and a guaranteed return to the source.

We will drive on a lovely road, National Road 2. You will see green rainforests, calm rice
fields, and pretty waterfalls. On our way, we will stop at a special place called Peyrieras
private farm, "Madagascar Exotique." Here, you can see many amazing animals of
Madagascar, like different reptiles, geckos, and colorful butterflies. You might even see the
biggest butterfly in the world, the Comet Moth! When we arrive in Andasibe, we will visit the
Vakona reserve. This is a safe place run by Vakona Forest Lodge. The best part is seeing many
kinds of lemurs up close ! You'll see the Sifakas, which look like they are dancing, as well as
small bamboo lemurs and lemurs with black and white fur. The reserve also has a place
where you can see crocodiles. At night, we will go for a quiet walk in the rainforest with
flashlights. We hope to see gentle lemurs, chameleons, and other animals that come out at
night.

Analamazaotra National Park, is a must-visit destination for nature lovers and wildlife
enthusiasts. The park is renowned for its diverse lemur population, including the iconic indri,
and offers a variety of activities for visitors. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Indri lemur, the largest lemur species in the world. These majestic creatures are known for their powerful
vocalizations, which can be heard from a distance. After the park, we will go to a calm place
called Akanin’ny Nofy. It's surrounded by beautiful green scenery. We will take a relaxing
boat ride on the Pangalanes Canal, which is like a maze of peaceful rivers in Madagascar.
When we get to Akanin’ny Nofy, you can relax at your hotel.

The Palmarium reserve is a true paradise for nature lovers. Nestling in the heart of a lush
tropical forest, it is home to exceptional flora and fauna, and the stars of the reserve are
without doubt the lemurs. You can observe several species of these primates endemic to
Madagascar, including the Indri Indri, the largest lemur in the world. After lunch, set off to
discover a typical Betsimisaraka village. Located near the Palmarium reserve, Andranokoditra
is a small fishing village. You'll have the opportunity to discover the traditional Malagasy way
of life and share a special moment with the locals. A nocturnal excursion to observe the Aye
aye is an experience that will leave an indelible mark on your stay at Akanin'ny nofy. This
nocturnal lemur, with its singular appearance and mysterious habits, is an endemic species of
the island and one of Madagascar's natural treasures. Before dinner, embark on a peaceful
night adventure to encounter the gentle Aye-Aye, a nocturnal lemur with distinctive features.

being.

along the Pangalanes Canal, you'll embark on a thrilling journey back to Antananarivo. Reflect
on the unforgettable memories you've made, from exploring the lush rainforest to
encountering the elusive Aye-Aye.

After breakfast, you will take the road to the South, the famous national road 7 towards
Antsirabe. Stops punctuate this journey to appreciate the typical landscapes of the Central
Highlands with their rice terraces, eucalyptus forests, and tall brick houses with thatched
roofs. About 69 km from Tana, you will stop at Ambatolampy. Not only cooking pots but also
some incredible decorative items or items you can purchase for souvenirs. The day ends at
the Thermal city of Antsirabe. You will spend the rest of the day as you please.

Our adventure starts in Antsirabe, the "City of Water". An emblematic means of transport is a
must: the rickshaw! Comfortably seated, you'll wind your way through the town's streets,
admiring the colonial architecture, red-roofed houses and numerous artisan stalls. After
Antsirabe, you'll head for Ambositra, the capital of craftsmanship in Madagascar, where
you'll visit the Rova, the royal residence of the Zafimaniry. You'll discover the unique
architecture of this people, renowned for their wood carvings. You'll also have the
opportunity to meet talented craftsmen and discover their ancestral techniques by exploring
their workshops. Still at Ambositra, you will spend a few times at Ankazomivady reserve. The

the Aerangis ellisii, Cynorkis saxicola, etc. Our tour ends in Fianarantsoa, the capital of the
Betsileo region. This historic town will seduce you with its charm and authenticity.

To start the day, take a city tour of Fianarantsoa. Enjoy a wonderful time in this town, which
is full of treasures from the past. It has long been the city of learning and education (hence its
name "the city where one learns well"). You'll be captivated not only by the texture of the
city, but also by its different architectural styles which can be seen in the various houses and
ancient churches, especially the Catholic ones. The walk will take us to the upper town,
where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city of Fianarantsoa. Then, take the road to
Ranohira. At about 70km from Fianarantsoa, Anja community reserve is an ideal ecotourism
destination. The 0.4 km2 reserve protects a population of about 600 ring-tailed lemurs and
stay the best places in the country to observe and photograph these charismatic creatures. In
addition, appreciate the panoramic view on the top of this rocky mountain: a perfect
mountainous landscape of the countryside. Resume the road to Ranohira. Once there,
admire a pleasant sunset through the window of the Isalo: A Postcard-perfect scenery.

We begin our day with a delicious breakfast, followed by a scenic drive to Isalo National Park.
This natural wonder, with its dramatic landscapes and diverse ecosystems, is a true gem of
Madagascar. We'll explore the park's winding canyons, lush forests, and sparkling pools,
taking in the breathtaking beauty of the surroundings. As the sun begins to set, we'll find the
perfect spot to witness a spectacular display of color and light. Ranohira offers more than
just adventure. Your journey promise the visit of the village of Maromaniry, a 'desired-by
many' haven of the Bara people. These strategic settlers live in small, dispersed communities
as a defense against past threats. The polygamous family of fifty welcomes us into their mud
and thatch homes. We'll meet the revered family head and witness the extraordinary healing
rituals for the incurable "Bilo" illness. For the spiritually inclined, a sacred tree stands nearby,
ready to hear your wishes. The rest of the day is yours to explore or simply relax in this
unique cultural experience.

Today, we embark on a scenic journey down the RN7 to Toliara. Our first stop is the

eight unique lemur species. Amidst the lush, savannah-like vegetation, we'll marvel at the
strangler trees and the elusive Tsitake. Continuing our coastal adventure, we'll traverse the
RN9 to Ifaty. The road unfolds like a painting, showcasing golden savannahs, towering
baobabs, and thorny shrubs. As the Indian Ocean emerges, its gentle breeze promises a
serene stay.
