Since we're in the capital, let's discover an interesting eco-tourism spot. Today, we're heading for Ankafobe, the harbour of Tampoketsa. Stop off in the small village of Ambohimanarina to visit a charcoal stove workshop. The manufacture of these stoves has become the culture of the people living in this village. In addition to farming and livestock breeding. Afterwards, we continue our journey to reach the Ankafobe reserve. Whether you're a history buff or a nature lover, the 30-hectare Ankafobe forest is well worth a visit. This is where the Sohisika or “Schizolaena Tampoketsana” grows, considered to be one of the rarest trees in the world. A number of animal species also live in this prodigious reserve, including reptiles, amphibians, birds and the Eulemur fulvus: all live freely in the reserve. We will drive on a lovely road, National Road 2. You will see green rainforests, calm rice fields, and pretty waterfalls. On our way, we will stop at a special place called Peyrieras private farm, "Madagascar Exotique." Here, you can see many amazing animals of Madagascar, like different reptiles, geckos, and colorful butterflies. You might even see the biggest butterfly in the world, the Comet Moth! When we arrive in Andasibe, we will visit the Vakona reserve. This is a safe place run by Vakona Forest Lodge. The best part is seeing many kinds of lemurs up close ! You'll see the Sifakas, which look like they are dancing, as well as small bamboo lemurs and lemurs with black and white fur. The reserve also has a place where you can see crocodiles. Today, you will fly to Diego Suarez, also called Antsiranana. It is a cosmopolitan town and capital of the Northern side of Madagascar. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. On the first day of your stay to the north, you will set off for your walk through the famous 03 bays of Ramena. This site including the «Dunes Bay", the "Bay of des Pigeon Bay" and the "Sakalava Bay", all of those bays are connected. The walk along the bays is superb: wild coasts, fine white sand beaches lined with rosewood, baobabs and flamboyant trees, you will find splendid bathing spots. A 3-hour walk will enable you to discover the rich flora and fauna of the area. Back to the hotel at the end of the day.

Your visit to Amber Mountain National Park begins with a scenic drive from Diego Suarez (Antsiranana) to the charming village of Joffreville, located at the park's entrance. Upon arrival in Joffreville, you'll enter Amber Mountain National Park, Madagascar's first and oldest national park, established in 1958. This volcanic massif rises like a green oasis from the surrounding dry lowlands, creating a unique rainforest ecosystem. The park is a haven for endemic flora and fauna, boasting an incredible biodiversity. You will be able to admire in a spectacular setting of an immensity that sends us back to a forgotten era: the Jurassic. You will discover the Red Tsingy through the savannah crossing and descent on a part of the Analamerana Park near the village of Irodo. Then, take the first small stop in the viewpoint on the surroundings and go down slowly to discover gradually all the site.
